COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course will enable you to have a good understanding about the mental capacity act 2005,the deprivation of liberty safeguards and the implications they have for the service user and service provider.
CERTIFICATION
Once complete the course, you will have to complete the quiz.You have to achieve a minimum of 75% to pass.
You are allowed to attempt the quiz five times and you can retake the course if needed 5 times as well.
Upon completing the quiz, go to the course and mark the course as complete and then you will be presented with the electronic copy of the certificate.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
As a result of doing this course the participant will be able to have a clear understanding about the Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards. This course will enable the learner to understand what mental capacity is, how to apply the functional assessment of capacity and the five principles of MCA DoLS. They will also learn how to assist someone who lacks capacity and how DoLS process is implemented in a practical setting.
